Originally created in 1971 Dalí celebrates his relationship with the world of high fashion through his depiction of two figures; Venus dressed with flowers and flowing robes, and her knight paying homage to her elegance on bended knee. More mannequin-like figures fade delicately into the background, giving this composition an air of lightness and fragility.
