Paul Horton has been exhibiting his work
for over 35 years and has developed a style
of art and subject matter that has become
instantly recognisable and universally popular.
Often described as a modern day Lowry, his
work has moved on in so many avenues
and directions that, in truth, he can best
be described as a unique storyteller. Paul’s
work is at once striking and beautiful with an
immediacy and innocence; but look closer
and there is symbolism, depth and even
iconography in his colourful pastel work.
The world he has created connects with the
everyman, bringing with it so many elements
that we can all relate to. He continues to
surprise us with new and exciting storylines
and yet still manages to retain the original
elements of his work that we have come to
love. With Paul’s work continuing to rise in
popularity we are delighted to present to
you his new exhibition ‘Love is Life’.
