Scarlett Raven & Marc Marot | The Danger Tree
Following the sell-out success of her groundbreaking augmented reality exhibition The Danger Tree, Scarlett Raven returns with Marc Marot to mark the 100-year-anniversary of the end of World War One.
The exhibition will run at a brand new location at Titanic Belfast until 31st August.
Telling an immersive story of the soldiers who fought and fell between 1914 and 1918, the body of work takes its name from the only tree left standing on the battlefield during fighting. and inspirations include the legendary war poets Wilfred Owen, Siegfried Sassoon and Rupert Brooke. Augmented reality allows viewers to unlock the creative journey with their smartphone; stripping away the countless layers of paint to reveal the poetry, animation and music beneath.
Marc adds: "We feel the incredible juxtaposition of history and technology at the Titanic exhibition is in sync with our own creative sensibilities."
